We have begun our annual process of looking for deserving secondary students to receive International Friends of Belize (IFOB) scholarships for the 2012-2013 academic year.  Each scholarship is worth up to $1,000 BZ and covers tuition, books, fees, and uniforms.

We have partnered with 15 Belizean high schools who have agreed to abide by the conditions required by International Friends of Belize in processing its scholarships.  We are looking for students who demonstrate financial need, represent their schools positively, do well academically, and participate actively in their communities.

Each school will identify five of its outstanding students who meet our criteria and have them complete the IFOB application packet.  All applications must be submitted by March 15, 2012, and winners will be announced no later than May 1, 2012.
